Nice, clean, quiet, safe room… I liked the location of the place. It is across PCH from the harbor - just fine, if you don’t need to be right in the middle of everything (and more expensive). …but close enough (to walk to). It was a good value.

This Half Moon Bay hotel is less than 5 minutes walk to Half Moon Bay Brewing Company and a variety of restaurants and 10 minutes’ drive to Half Moon Bay State Beach.

The hotel is spacious and open. The 3-story open lobby makes for a feeling of not being closed in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The king room facing the harbor is large and has a balcony. The sitting area is separates from the bed by a half wall, giving the bed area a more separate feeling.

Halfmoon Bay has nice costal trails.

Halfmoon Bay has nice costal trails. You can walk or bike all the way from Ritz Carlton to the pier. Nice wide sandy beach for picknick. Wild flowers blooming all the years to attract your eyes. Little bit cooler temperatures, so best to bring blanket and jacket if you stay in the beach. There are nice eateries in the beach and downtown Halfmoon bay. I also enjoye to vist Halfmoon Bay nursries where has many nice blooms.

Lovely ocean view and I enjoyed staying so close to the marina, where I could observe the boats docked as well as on the water. Plenty of dining options nearby. Quiet, laid back and friendly atmosphere.

We've being going to Princeton Half Moon bay for years but this is the first time we stayed overnight. We go for the restaurants and walking the pier where the fishing boats are docked. You can buy their fresh catch right off the boat, including crabs. There is a fish market there that will clean and cut whatever you buy for a fee. We are a retired couple so this suits us but there are other activities, such as beaches, surfing, boating, hiking and fishing.

The beds are awesome, and my room was at the end of the hall and really quiet. I didn't hear cars despite the balcony being parking lot/street facing (no beach front availability). The beds are the bomb, and the kitchen was also great, coffee, fridge, small stove, all great amenities. The property doesn't indicate there is no air conditioning in the rooms. My accompanying friends had to move rooms due to the temperatures in their room on the 3rd floor being REALLY HOT. Two really great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Recommend due to traffic high flow during the weekends. Sam's Chowder House and Miramar Beach Restaurant Patio was AWESOME and the food was fantastic. Our Waitress was the bomb!!

Location of the rental is excellent.

Location of the rental is excellent. Easy to get around HMB. We were fortunate to enjoy the Jazz festival. While on Main Street in HMB, we ate at Johnny's restaurant, a highly recommended breakfast/lunch establishment. We also shopped along the shops on Main Street. We enjoyed the quaint town and the friendliness of people. We can't think of anything negative about our vacation experience.

We stopped here for one night in August. The hotel is conveniently located on the way out of Half Moon Bay travelling south. We had a big room with 2 queen beds easily accommodating 2 adults & 2 teens for one night. We went for a quick dip in the pool, found the hottub to be too hot. There's not a lot there, so we chose to drive back to Half Moon Bay for dinner. The buffet breakfast was plentiful.

This was a well maintained property close to restaurants and cafes at Half moon bay. We stayed just the one night on our way to san Francisco. The room was modern with a modern bathroom. We didn't use the fireplace but this was a nice addition to the room. The sitting area by the window offered good views of the bay even though there was highway one bewteen the hotel and forshore.

The boutique hotel has a lot of potential. The outside courtyard was well fitted out with chairs and tables. It was a sun trap. The rooms looked nice. The complimentary wine was a nice feature.
